We offer two types of consultations

  1. 15-minute virtual discovery meeting or phone call to see if we are a good fit

  2. 1-hour in person or virtual session where we delve deep into your case and discuss your specific questions/concerns.

The 15-minute discovery meeting is free. No legal advice will be provided. Possible topics include what type of case you have, what a general fee range may be, how do we generally approach cases, etc. No preparation is necessary for this meeting.


The 1-hour session is $300. Legal advice will be provided. Possible topics include the detailed facts of your case, answers to your questions, and a more specific discussion on fees, timeline, etc. The $300 fee is payable prior to the meeting and there are no refunds. Credits may be applied for rescheduling. A questionnaire will be emailed to you after your booking. Please complete the questionnaire to the best of your ability and email or fax back to us prior to your
meeting.

For Probate Cases:

Types of items to provide prior to the meeting or bring to the meeting:

  1. Completed probate questionnaire

  2. Prior and present Wills (and any Codicils)

  3. Trusts

  4. Designations of Guardian for Minor Children

  5. Death certificate

  6. Paid funeral bills

  7. Decedent’s most recent income tax return

  8. Real and personal property tax bills

  9. Deeds (copies are fine) to property

  10. Mortgage paperwork

  11. Vehicle titles (or insurance cards)

  12. Copies of any bills/debts

  13. Life insurance policies & annuities – statements and summaries – beneficiary provisions

  14. Most recent statements for any accounts (checking, savings, CDs, etc)

  15. Most recent retirement, pension, IRA, etc. statements

  16. Leases

  17. Prenuptial or postnuptial agreements

  18. Child support orders

  19. Wills of other family members, if pertinent

For Guardianship Cases:

Types of items to provide prior to the meeting or bring to the meeting:

  1. Completed guardianship questionnaire

  2. Documentation or list of assets belonging to the proposed ward

  3. Completed Physicians Certificate of Medical Examination form, if possible (available from our office or many county clerk’s websites)

  4. Medical or durable power of attorney documents signed by the proposed ward

  5. Designations of Guardian documents signed by the proposed ward

  6. A list of proposed ward’s relatives (spouse, parents, children, siblings, etc.), their dates
    of birth, and addresses

For Simple Estate Planning Cases:

Types of items to provide prior the meeting or bring to the meeting:

  1. Completed estate planning questionnaire

  2. Prior estate planning documents

  3. Any account statements you have questions about the way they are set up (payable upon death, co-signer, convenience signer, etc.)

  4. Certificates of Formation

  5. Business agreements
